All the structures selected by our association offer a multicultural atmosphere and many didactic programmes. Many facultative activities are run to show the Japanese culture in all its views.

 

The classes are divided in four different levels, individual or in groups, and may have a different duration according to one’s needs.

FOR SHORT STAYS…

Solutions thought for go-ahead young people who want to get the linguistic experience together with a vivid cultural exchange.  

DORM: in this kind of lodging all the spaces are in common, the chamber is for more people, the kitchen/living room area and the toilets are in common. 

SHARED CHAMBER: lodging shared with one or two other people; it offers more spaces then a dorm and is very cheap. 

GUEST HOUSE: differently from the dorm and the shared chamber, the common spaces are only the kitchen/living room area and the toilets, even if the bathroom may be private in certain occasions, while the chamber (which can be closed with a key) is single. The services supplied by the Guest House are different according to the lodgings; sometimes it is necessary to participate to the cleaning up of the common spaces, as an accord among flatmates. 

FOR LONG STAYS…

For all those who choose to spend a longer linguistic stay in order to better enjoy the Japanese life, we recommend 

GUEST HOUSE: for the lovers of the interaction among different cultures, for the ones who prefer the group life and don’t need too big spaces. Private chamber with common rooms.  

MONTHLY MANSION: lodging right for those who want to keep their own independence. The flats, in luxury option, too, are furnished and equipped with all the necessary.

The cost usually varies according to the location and the standard, but it’s the most advised choose to spend there long period.

Renewable Energy 2009: Tokyo’s relaunch for specific appointment about the energy field

 TOKYO: It’s not only a mere politic recall anymore, that of  Japan to the “energetic and ecologic” question, but a further step toward the realization of a structured project about a developing  economy which points to the “green economy”. This is the size the Renwable Energy 2009 will be inaugurated in Tokyo with. Ten Italian firms were there to take part to the important event coordinated by the Japanese Council for Renwable Energies. 

The event, which is taking place from 24^th to 26^th June at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, in the immediate suburb of the Japanese  megalopolis, provides the participation of the major firms and organizations in the sector and in the research and industry of the renwable energies and the presentation of the last products, technologies, services and information about the environmental care. The fair will host also the “PV Japan 2009”, event dediated to the Fotovoltaico sector.

TOKYO: La rinnovata presa di posizione del Governo giapponese sulla questione ecologica è stata sottolineata in maniera ancora più netta in seguito all'ultimo G8 giapponese tenutosi in Hokkaido lo scorso luglio. L'inaugurazione della prima vera e propria casa ecologica a 0 emissioni di CO2 ha riaperto la discussione sul rinnovo del protocollo di Kyoto, importante bandiera di riconoscimento geopolitico dell'autorità giapponese sulla dimensione ecologica internazionale. 

Dopo pochi mesi già nell'autunno del 2008 arriva la conferma di un piano di investimenti massiccio da parte del governo giapponese atto a ridimensionare la convinta presa di posizione sul sostegno allo sviluppo del settore. Un programma che prevede entro il 2014 la diffusione del "solare fotovoltaico" e a ruota del solare termico per almeno 1/4 delle nuove unità abitative. Una presa di posizione ardua ma che ha permesso ai titoli dei maggiori produttori di celle per pannelli solari, quali Kyocera e Matsushita di volare alto e di ri-quotarsi nell'ottica di apertura a nuovi progetti di installazione non solo in Giappone.

Così avvenne in Spagna, dove Mitsubishi Eletric già a partire dalla scorsa estate, favorita da incentivi nazionali ed europei, è riuscita ad insediarsi con la creazione di veri e propri campi ecologici a fotovoltaico, valorizzando clientela pubblica e privata.

Il progetto ecologico giapponese punta ora sulla valorizzazione del solare termico, accostando al fotovoltaico la valorizzazione dell'energia solare applicata a riscaldamento sanitario e per ambienti da una parte e al cooling / raffreddamento dall'altra. Una dimensione produttiva che troverà sicuramente mercato in Giappone ma che punta, soprattutto ad Europa ed America. Mitsubishi Denki, Daikin, Panasonic, Fujitsu, sono già schierate con programmi di sviluppo, investimento e produzione anche per i mercati europei a rilancio di una posizione di primato che è scesa di ben due posizioni negli ultimi anni. Le aziende più "coinvolte" a livello di produzione e applicazione delle energie rinnovabili sono risultate per la maggior parte spagnole e tedesche. I giapponesi seguono al terzo posto secondo gli ultimi dati forniti da centri di ricerca nazionali e diffusi dalla stampa giapponese.

Ecco allora chiara l'importanza di eventi quali Renewable Energy 2009: riportare in Giappone, un dialogo vivo e concreto sul tema e rilanciarlo in ottica internazionale attraverso il business con aziende europee dove tra l'altro si svilupperò un bacino di vendita giapponese.

L'investimento in energie rinnovabili, stimolato dal pacchetto Ue Clima ed Energia (gennaio 2008), raggiunge per l'Italia un valore di 100 miliardi di euro nei prossimi 12 anni, con una media di oltre 8 miliardi all'anno. Per un potenziale occupazionale che potrebbe raggiungere 250.000 posti di lavoro nel 2020. 

Su 250.000 posti totali, l'eolico ne occuperebbe 77.500 (31%), le biomasse 65.000 (26%), il solare fotovoltaico 27.500 (11%), fino ai 10.000 (4%) impegnati nell'incenerimento dei rifiuti solidi urbani. L'Italia con le sue risorse può sviluppare più degli altri, infatti, l'eolico, il solare, l'idroelettrico, sfruttando la sua particolare posizione geografica. 

Il Giappone da parte sua punta proprio sulla «green economy» nascente come una delle carte cruciali nei pacchetti di stimolo antirecessivi. Gli incentivi alle fonti rinnovabili di energia vengono difatti assunti non come costi ma come finanziamenti all'innovazione tecnologica e nel contempo come investimenti che hanno ricadute di rilevanza strategica sul piano sia economico, sia occupazionale. 

L'ICE sarà presente con un Punto Italia per illustrare: Poli di eccellenza, Centri di ricerca e Aziende italiane del settore. Al fine di favorire lo sviluppo del partenariato tra la realtà italiana e i partecipanti all'evento.

Tokyo Riders: the photo exhibition presented by Asian Studies Group

Asian Studies Group is pleased to introduce the first exhibition that will take place at the ASG's new cultural lab in Milan city centre.

From 23/01/2009 to 14/03/2009

The photo exhibition titled "Tokyo Riders, living in megalopolis - the perception of a new aesthetic" will include 20 original releases of Laura Liverani professional photographer has joined several artistic experieces in Eastern Asia, in particular in China, Hong Kong, and Japan.

The concept of the show is strictly related to the Association's project: the promotion and introduction of contemporary social scene on eastern asia countries, focusing the attention on those daily aspects that entirely realize a new and concrete aesthetic dimension.

That seems more true and interesting if we consider the cultural and aesthetic image of Japan as commonly is thought of from an international point of view. We're used to seeing picture of traditional Japan, or to representing japanese sense of beauty as geisha or misterious women while they're deep in a tea cerimony or ikebana.

In a different way, we'd want to take Tokyo as symbol of the cultural and social change still in progress in Japan and as clear revenge of the aestehetic need to evolve in a more concrete dimension.

The comprehension of real contemporary life is essential to partecipate in a more conscious way to the social and cultural dimension of the biggest megalopolis in the world.
